Where We Are
The headquarters of the Sisters of
St. Margaret is located at our main Convent in Boston. Closely connected with the Convent is
St. Margaret's in Duxbury, a seaside retreat and conference center thirty-seven
miles south of Boston. We also maintain two mission houses in addition
to the motherhouse in Boston.

St. Margaret's House and Ecumenical Center

Please note: St. Margaret's House in New Hartford, NY, is now known as St. Margaret's House and Ecumenical Center and is no
longer a mission house of the Sisters of St. Margaret. We are now glad to announce the new Stewards of St. Margaret's are - The Rev. Richard Lewis, The Rev. Sarah Lewis,
Mr. Thomas Groves and The Rev. Deacon Barbara Groves. They will be living in the house and managing the facility, the programs and the ministries in conjunction with
the Board of St. Margaret's Corporation. Our staff will continue on with their wonderful and necessary work that makes this ministry possible - we are very grateful
to them. Emmaus House, our primary urban ministry in Utica, will also continue its vital service of emergency shelter for women and children. The Food Sense program
will also continue at All Saints Church, and the food pantry at Grace Church. Many of the retreats and programs that have been held here will continue and we hope that
many more will be encouraged to visit and participate as possibilities present. New brochures and materials are being printed, and a new web-site is being created.
Their new email address is listed below.

St. Margaret's Convent
Port-au-Prince, HAITI
The Sisters in Haiti are very difficult to contact currently. They are able to get cell phone connections very sporadically. They can receive emails but
they are able to check them very, very infrequently. Please be patient if you are trying to reach them, and do not expect a response in a timely fashion. It is simply
the reality at the moment. We will let you know if and when that changes.
