Construction has begun!

Groundbreaking Ceremony

“Blessed are you, O Lord our God, maker and builder of all that is: you have moved us to choose this site for a new residence and mission center for the Sisters of St. Margaret; we ask you to send your blessing on this endeavor. Inspire and guide the architects, contractors, and workers and grant protection to all who shall labor here. We thank you for the vision and courage that has brought us to this moment, and for the assistance of all our friends, benefactors and supporters. We make this prayer through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen.”

Groundbreaking Sept 7, 2011

Sr. Adele Marie began the Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of our new residence with this prayer. We were honored to be joined by many of our friends and supporters in the Duxbury community despite the dismal weather. We were joined by the architect Will Saltonstall from Saltonstall Architects, Jake Simmons, the President of Delphi Construction, Inc, and Town Manager Richard MacDonald.
