Ways of Giving
Monetary Donations
Donations to the Spirit and Light capital campaign can be made on the Spirit and Light page.
There are many ways to donate money to the Sisters. All donations are tax-deductible. You may make a one-time donation or you may choose to make the Sisters the recipients of a pledge. In that case, donations are given on a scheduled basis, either monthly, quarterly, or annually. You may designate all donations for a specific reason or they can be unrestricted. You decide where you want your donation to go.
Donations may be made online by clicking on the Donate button on the left hand side of any page of this website. You can make donations online from your checking account, your savings account or a credit or debit card. There are choices available on the online donation page. If you have any problems at all with your online donation, don't hesitate to call us. We'll be happy to help!
Donations of stocks or mutual funds may be made to the Sisters as well. Please email us at communications@ssmbos.org and we will be happy to give you the information regarding those donations.
Checks may be sent to:
The Society of St. Margaret
17 Highland Park St.

Please make checks payable to The Society of St. Margaret and indicate Donation on the outside of the envelope.
Remembering the Sisters of St. Margaret in your will
Have you ever considered including the Sisters of St. Margaret in your will? When you create a will, you have the ability to determine how your assets are distributed at your death to the individuals and charitable organizations of your choice. Including a bequest in your will to the Sisters of St. Margaret may be the best way to make a meaningful gift and save specific assets, such as property, securities or real estate, in case you or your family members need them in the future. Charitable bequests offer wonderful tax benefits and create a personal legacy.
Please consult your attorney, financial advisor and tax preparer before you make any decisions about your estate. Our legal title is The Society of St. Margaret.
